Well it's towards the end of the business day, and we managed to get 5 pictures into the queue at iStock for review and had about half a dozen approved. So far, we've only had rejects at iStock resulting from releases: both model and property. Next week will be our 3rd try at Shutterstock.
We're having interesting discussions along many lines about photography: technical, artistic, and business. It's amazing how much time can be spend trying to answer "How fine of a control do you need on color balance?" and never finding an answer. Or how do you balance an image against stock (greater likelihood of steady cash) or art (greater likelihood of larger payments)?
We're also trying to sort through being a pair producing working instead of an individual. All the systems seem to be expecting individuals and we're breaking the mold, again.
